A Unique Dance and Exercise Program for All Ages and Abilities

Helene has spent her career helping others as a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN, BSN).  After sustaining a shoulder injury, she was unable to perform the physical requirements of a bedside nurse, so she took a nursing position which had her behind a desk for over eight hours a day.  Knowing the risks of a sedentary lifestyle, she began eating healthier and working out to exercise videos.  She noticed that these programs were all done by young, fit people... people with whom she had little in common. With her own injury to consider, she found that she had to modify these programs, so she began searching for videos which catered to the over 50, not so skinny, not so agile crowd, and to her surprise found none.  So, in collaboration with her sister, who was currently teaching a special needs dance class, an idea was born. Many years of caring for her patient's health needs turned into a new passion for proactive care and fitness, especially for this underserved population.
